2011-03-16 TOUR ÄNDERUNGEN !!!

"Hallo Fans,

es tut uns sehr leid, euch mitteilen zu müssen, das Grand Magus und Sister Sin ihre Teilnahme an der GRAVE DIGGER Europa Tour abgesagt haben.Der Drummer von Grand Magus liegt im Krankenhaus mit einer Thrombose im Bein und hat absolutes Spielverbot .... ein Ersatz konnte in der Kürze der Zeit nicht gefunden werden. Mit der Absage von GM platzte auch die Tourfinanzierung von Sister Sin.
Somit standen wir bis gestern ohne Vorprogramm da ....
Aber wir können euch für Grand Magus einen gleichwertigen Ersatz in Form von ORDEN OGAN präsentieren. Wir freuen uns, dass die Band sich die Zeit für die Tour freischaufeln konnte.
Als Ersatz für Sister Sin werden wir bei 8 Konzerten die Band DOWNSPIRIT dabei haben. Mastermind bei Downspirit ist Cede Dupont, vielen bekannt durch seine früheren Bands
Freedom Call und Symphorce. In einigen Städten werden uns dann noch local supports unterstützen.

Wir haben sehr lange an dem Package mit Grand Magus gearbeitet und sind natürlich auch enttäuscht das es nicht klappt.
Aber wie ihr alle wisst und die meisten von euch in Wacken 2010 gesehen haben, Grave Digger ist eine Macht und ein Garant für feinsten Teutonenstahl.

Wir werden unseren Set um ein paar Stücke erweitern um euch die DEFINITIVE Vollbedienung zu geben.

NIEMAND wird enttäuscht nach Hause gehen !!!!!

Hallo Freunde,

unsere neue DVD "The Clans are still marching" ist auf Platz 56 in die deutschen Media Control Charts eingestiegen ... unser erster DVD Einstieg ... nach 30 Jahren. DER HAMMER !!! Vielen Dank euch allen für die grenzenlose Unterstützung !!!

2011-03-05 Konzert in Ljubljana am 6.4.2011 abgesagt

Hallo Fans,

leider müssen wir die Show am 6.4.2011 in Ljubljana absagen, da unsere Bühnenproduktion nicht in den Club Gala Hala passt. Der Club ist einfach zu klein. Es konnte keine andere Halle als Ersatz in der Kürze der Zeit gefunden werden.

2011-01-03 BIG GRAVE DIGGER COMPETITION

Hi everybody,

we know, many of you out there are waiting impatiently for the final result of the BIG GRAVE DIGGER COMPETITION, but as you can imagine, it took a long time to listen to all the great guitar work our fans sent us over via personal videos or YouTube content.

The whole band was involved to check out rhythms and solos from all over the world and believe us, it was a long and stony road to figure out who's doing best for "Highland Farewell"....

We generated a counting system of all in all 60 points in maximum for rhythm- and solo guitar together, including some bonus points for extra ordinary performance. We're sorry to tell that all artists, who performed just the solo part, got one counting part missing, so there was no chance for those guys to enter the upper ranks.



So here we go, we would like to present you the Top 3 of our compilation, lads and lasses, for rank #3, please welcome CED "MR. DÖD"



Ced got 48 points for his performance and the prizes for his powerful performance will be 2 EMG pickups and a PYRAMID Axel Ritt Signature string set.



At rank #2 please welcome LUKAS LANGER from the Czech Republic. Great technic and classical posing gave him several extra points by the all band members.



All in all, Lukas got 49 points and he's the lucky winner of 3 EMG pickups and a PYRAMID Axel Ritt Signature string set.



And finally, for best rhythms and solo guitar performance in all cases and the high score of 54 points, please give a big hand for MURILO MAZZA from Brazil!



Murilo will get the first prize, the big JAMVOX package, a combination of PC amplifier plus extracting software and a PYRAMID Axel Ritt Signature string set.

In addition to his first prize, we'd like to invite Murilo to perform his solo together with GRAVE DIGGER live on stage (!) at one of our South America tour dates in summer this year. We hope, he will be in the mood to do so ;-)

Ced and Lukas will get a backstage pass for one of our tour dates as well and the ranks from 4 to 10 will get a guest pass for one of the GRAVE DIGGER shows in 2011.

We hope all of you had a lot of fun while performing and watching the videos. The whole GRAVE DIGGER band would like to give a big THANK YOU to all guitarists, who did their best to give "Highland Farewell" an extra touch of excitement by their personal interpretation.
